SLG agency offers a great opportunity for its associates. I’ve been working for them for a while, and the human resources representative are very helpful to the employees, because they show a review at certain times on how the employee is doing. Also, they are always there to answer questions. Working for this agency has been the best experience I’ve had compared to other agencies.
I started with Staffing Leadership Group in 2016 working as an Outbound Picking Associate. That same year, I was hired on at the client and was promoted to a 1st shift Operations Lead. I currently lead 12 people.
I started in 2010 as an SLG associate crushing cardboard. After two weeks, I was promoted to inbound and then into picking outbound. After performing well, I was persistent and wanted to learn more, so I was moved into consolidation and was hired on with the client. I applied for a Operations Lead position and got the job. After some time, I applied for a Supervisor position and got the job. I now supervise 25 associates.
I was hired by SLG as a part time Customer Service Representative (CSR). I was then hired on permanently at the company SLG had placed me. I have continued to learn and grow with all the excellent opportunities that are available. I was just recently promoted to the Customer Service Manager and am again learning and growing. This is a great place to work. Advancement is encouraged and supported. If you are committed to doing your job well you can go far.
The orientation process is great here. I wasn’t just another number. They spent time explaining everything and answering all of my questions before they ever expected me to start producing numbers for them. They care about me here.
SLG actually listened to the shift I needed and only offered me positions that matched that shift. They didn’t try to force me to take something to benefit themselves.
The work is consistent, and you are always learning something different. The hiring process was simple and effective.
